Adventures in Adventure Park

Some people think Glenwood Springs is just about the hot springs pool, but it's much more. If you want to have a fun vacation, try Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park at Glenwood Springs. Glenwood Springs is about a 3 hour drive from Denver. Once you're there, you can take a tram ride up to the top of the mountain, take the alpine coaster for a run, do a scary canyon swing over the edge of Glenwood Canyon, or do a zipline. Put some spice into the day and try out the wild west wagon, a wagon designed to look like a real pioneer wild west wagon complete with a video of being chased by outlaws with the wagon thumping and bumping. If you're looking for a challenge, try the climbing wall. Some extra fun things are the bungee trampoline and Fort WhereamI, where you race through a maze to get prizes. Get some grub and then see a 4-D movie with moving seats, and blasts of air. Beware: if you have motion sickness you should not come. The movies are about 5 minutes long, and feature a jet pack ride, a sled ride down a snowy mountain, and a haunted mine. Then you can go back on the tram tired from a day of fun.
