Tammy Trent

Tammy Trent is a female Christian singer, who has had her share of troubles. When she was a young girl, her parents divorced. She grew up knowing God, and she needed Him. When she was in a youth group, she met Trent. They had a good relationship until they broke up. But after a few months, they were back together. Trent asked Tammy to marry him and she accepted. So they were happy. But all of Tammy's happiness came crashing down on September 10th, 2001. That was the day Trent went free diving in Jamaica. He landed in heaven. Tammy was stranded in Jamaica, without anyone to comfort her, save for her father-in-law, because the next day, the world seemed to stop. Yes, that day was 9/11. And Tammy had no way to get home.When she did she stopped singing. After almost 5 years, Tammy made her first album since Trent's death. And she hasn't stopped singing. The song I am going to review today is called, "Is Anybody Willing?". This song is sung on Tammy's video when she went to Uganda, Africa. In this song, Tammy shares that there is so much we can do to help in the world. She asks if we are willing to be the hope among the hopeless and the light in the darkness. There is so much we can do in the world. The homeless, the hungry, and the poor all need out help.That is Tammy's message to the world is "We all have a purpose. To help others. See that purpose out."
